I love essential oils. I’ve been using them for years now because they have improved the health and well-being of my family. And because they smell great! (Most of them, anyway.) Before discovering essential oils, my life had become almost completely fragrance free. For health reasons and because I just can’t stand the smell of most artificial fragrances (the laundry detergent aisle? UGH!), I chose to use fragrance free products. I still do. But now, I can enjoy beautiful scents again thanks to essential oils. I plan to share more here about my personal experiences with essential oils, but if you want to learn more in the meantime, please visit: What Are Essential Oils? Spotlight on Cedarwood
Cedarwood is a great oil to start off the new year. It’s a grounding oil to help us get a solid start. It supports the root chakra, helping to center us and connect us with our physical bodies. It’s an affordable oil that can be diffused to create a relaxing environment (think sleep!). It also helps promote clear, healthy skin. I like to use it on the soles of my feet to help ground my yoga practice. For more about doTERRA’s Cedarwood or to purchase, click here.
To be fully transparent, I recently became a doTERRA Wellness Advocate because I really have found their essential oils to be so beneficial in my life. By clicking on the above educational link, or any other links doTERRA’s website, I may receive monetary compensation if you choose to explore and purchase products via that link. (And if you do, thanks!). If you would like to talk with me about essential oils, please contact me: dawn@artofwholeheartedliving.com.
